| Lamara Heartwell incorporates movement activities andimprovisational dialogues as tools for women to discover their own authentic expression. She uses playful exercises as well as writing and drawing to unwind negative thought patterns and develop empowerment. In building appreciation of themselves, young women strengthen their capacity to enjoy life and connect deeply with others.
In addition to studying and practicing counseling since 1995, Lamara has taught yoga to teenage girls and led groups of freshman women at College of the Siskious. She also has six years experience in facilitating womens' groups. |
