Shems Heartwell works with people in a unique way. His primary intention is to empower each client to participate in their own healing.
Shems supports young men in cultivating a deep connection with nature; modelling confidence, curosity and inner clarity. He provides a safe and trustung space for young men to communicate and know that they're being heard. This setting allows youth to challenge the cultural understanding of what it is to be a man. Shems co-creates an environment that honors and develops each individual. He is a teacher, ally and friend showing how every interaction is an opportunity for learning on all sides.

Shems' extensive experience includes five years working with children at retreat camps; teaching Thai Massage and Barefoot Shiatsu at Lupine Massage Institute; and ten years involvement in various mens' groups.
